I have been breeding quality toy and miniature poodles in Queensland since 1995. I started breeding poodles at Kogan and then moved to my beautiful home on 400 acres at Jandowae in 2001.

SunshineStar Poodles' policy of openness and honesty with all customers has brought many satisfied customers who send their families, friends and neighbours here and then sometimes come back here for their second and sometimes third poodle!

During this time I have consistently tried to improve and expand the range of breeding stock to meet the market demands.

I are proud to say that I can usually supply a poodle puppy in almost any colour at most times during the year. In recent years the reds and browns have become increasingly popular both in Australia and overseas. I have enlarged my range of breeders in these colours but have still maintained stocks in all the other more traditional colours to satisfy the needs of most customers.

I am working steadily on a program to use only dogs which have been DNA tested for PRA. All adult males have been tested and are Clear. Most females have been tested and I continue to purchase unrelated breeding stock who are DNA Clear.

All puppies are socialised with my three cats. They are also used to seeing birds, peahens and peacocks, as well as cows on a daily basis.
